Wassup with the word be. It's amazing how many of my students don't know how to use this verb in its correct context. This is a preponderance of where did the educational system go wrong and it also questions how have these children been allowed to get all the way through grammar school and even almost out of high school without knowing how to use the verb be properly? It kinda makes me wonder how the teachers, who have been charged with educating these youngsters talk. (and people wonder why urban schools have such problems)

I think I be fixin to go get somin to eat cause I be hungry.........Or in the eloquent words of Shakespeare, To be or not to be that is the question, but in any case make sure you do be something one way or the other.

Question of the day.....Why do students get trip slips, get signed out of class when the trip doesn't actually leave until later in the morning. Where do they go and what do they do when they should be in class. Inquiring minds want to know....hmmmmmm
